Making Time for the Creative You!

Welcome to Creative Ewe!
Creativity, Connection & Wellbeing
Hello, I'm Hannah, the face behind Creative Ewe!
After 20 years of working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, I began to question whether my work, life and wellbeing balance was really balancing. The answer was a definite no! Creativity has always been a big part of who I am, and nearly two years ago I took the leap and turned my passion for making into a business where I could share that enjoyment with others. I have always believed that being creative doesn't have to be about producing something perfect or even particularly useful. Sometimes, the simple joy of making is enough. Giving ourselves permission to experiment, explore and enjoy the process can have a really positive impact on our wellbeing.
What We Do
Since opening our doors, Creative Ewe has grown into a welcoming and vibrant creative space offering much more than traditional arts and crafts classes. We offer a varied programme of hands-on workshops for adults, children and young people, from Botanical Casting and Lino Printing to Mixed Media, Mosaics, Jewellery Making and plenty more.
Alongside our regular workshops, we offer creative opportunities for home-educated young people, Arts Award programmes, private group bookings, birthday celebrations and corporate wellbeing experiences. And we're not just based in the studio! We take our creativity out into the community, delivering workshops at schools, youth groups, businesses and other venues. You'll also find us running workshops at places such as Rheged, Beetham Nurseries, Barton Grange and Holden Clough Nurseries.
We're particularly proud to work alongside other organisations, supporting creative programmes and community events including Escape2Make and Light Up Lancaster Explore Week.
Everyone Can Be Creative!
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that creativity should be accessible, enjoyable and free from judgement.
Our workshops aren't about everyone making identical pieces or following rigid instructions. We encourage you to explore materials, experiment with techniques, develop your own ideas and discover what works for you.
Whether you're a complete beginner, a keen maker or someone who hasn't picked up a paintbrush since school, you'll find a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment where you can have a go, learn something new and enjoy being creative.
Come and Find Us!
Our studio is located at Greenlands Farm Village near Carnforth, on the Lancashire and Cumbria border, just five minutes from Junction 35 of the M6.
The studio is fully accessible on one level, with wide doorways and accessible toilet facilities. There's also plenty to explore around the farm village, including a café, farm shop, garden centre, open farm and children's indoor play barn.
We're always keen to connect with fellow artists, tutors, community organisations and businesses who share our enthusiasm for creativity. If you'd like to collaborate, organise a workshop or simply find out more, we'd love to hear from you.
At Creative Ewe, we don't believe you have to be an artist to be creative. You just have to be willing to give it a go!
